HS2 has commissioned Serosensa to produce a series of safety reconstruction videos - dramatic, haunting recreations of real workplace accidents, designed to provoke a genuine emotional reaction. The aim is simple: to make workers think twice before cutting a corner or skipping the proper procedure, because every accident on a project of this scale is serious, and every single one of them is entirely avoidable.
It's a genre we know well. Our Reducing the Risk film for Morgan Sindall took a similarly unflinching, introspective approach to shock and awe, and had a profound effect on safety standards on site. HS2's new series follows that same principle - real consequences, honestly shown, rather than a sanitised training video.
We've worked with HS2 before too, though in a very different register. Below is our Colne Valley Viaduct Showreel, produced for Align to celebrate the completion of the 2-mile-long structure - a genuinely positive, celebratory piece, in contrast to the shock-and-awe approach the new safety films call for. Same relationship, same trust, but the tone shifts entirely depending on what the brief actually needs.
We're proud to be a fully accredited creative agency, trusted by brands ranging from ambitious local startups to national and international names. Whether you have a project in mind or just want to talk it through, we're only ever a phone call away.
