It was SO much fun animating the Tenfold Dungeon videos for GF9
Starting with a macro product shoot for each of the 4 sets (Dungeons & Sewers, The Castle, The Temple and The Town) we produced a moody but fun video using overlaid footage of real flames, smoke and water. Add in a really deep 50-a-day smokey voiceover artist, and the feel is just right for the D&D style boardgames that Tenfold Dungeons offer. Particularly fun to make was the retro-engineered way The Temple unfolds into a full table set.
Following the theatrical showreel came the need for a gameplay video that showcased the game's easy and quick setup compared to competitors. After playing with a few concepts we came up with The Unplanned Snooze (below)...
